RevPilot (“we”, “our”, or “the extension”) is a browser extension that provides sales enablement features including keyword highlighting, training videos, and AI-powered content generation. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data Collection
What We Collect
1. Configuration Data
- API keys and dashboard URLs you provide during setup
- Your keyword and domain configuration preferences
- Extension settings (enabled/disabled status)
2. Usage Analytics (Optional)
- Keyword click events
- Video view progress
- AI feature usage counts
- Session identifiers (anonymized)
3. Content You Create
- Messages and context you input into the AI assistant
- Generated content (emails, messages) are processed but not permanently stored by the extension
What We DO NOT Collect
- Your CRM login credentials
- Customer data from your CRM
- Browsing history outside of configured domains
- Personal financial information
- Passwords or sensitive authentication tokens (except your own RevPilot API key)
Data Storage
Local Storage
- API configuration is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API
- Session data remains on your device
Server Communication
- The extension communicates only with your configured RevPilot dashboard server
- AI requests are processed through Anthropic's Claude API (when configured)
- No data is sent to third-party analytics services
Data Usage
We use collected data to:
- Provide keyword highlighting and training features
- Generate AI-powered content at your request
- Display relevant training videos
- Track your onboarding progress
- Improve the extension experience
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Data may be processed by:
- Your RevPilot Dashboard: Self-hosted by your organization
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Only when you use AI features, subject to Anthropic's privacy policy
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access
View what data is stored in extension settings
Delete
Clear all local data by removing the extension
Opt-out
Disable analytics tracking in extension settings
Export
Request your data from your RevPilot dashboard administrator
Security
We implement security measures including:
- HTTPS-only API communication
- API key encryption in transit
- No storage of sensitive CRM data
- Rate limiting to prevent abuse
Extension Permissions Explained
The extension requests these permissions:

RevPilot is designed for business use and is not intended for users under 18 years of age.

We may update this privacy policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension or dashboard.
